- PERFORMANCE by Indira P.P. Bora and her disciples (Sattriya
dance and Bharata Natyam) on 26th February 2003 at an inauguration of
a 3-days cultural event organised by Shivratri Utsav Committee, Guwahati,
INDIA. Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia (Flute) and Pandit Shiv
Kumar Sharma(Santoor) performed on other days.
- PRESS MEET by Menaka P.P. Bora at Vivekananda Kendra, Guwahati,
India on 11th February 2003 featuring premiere of "Sattriya through
Nagara' ; an experimental work with noted Guru Aswini Kumar Bayan
where traditional Nagara is introduced as a mainstream music form
through classical Sattriya dance repertoire as conceived by Menaka.
Also screening of Menaka's video film "Arts in the Mediascape: Television,
Arts and Cultural Economy" made in London.
