KALABHUMI
- Over the years Kalabhumi has groomed many young talents
who have not only found a platform but also started teaching Bharata
Natyam and Sattriya in various places of north-east India thus promoting
Indian classical dance tradition in that region.
- It organises regular dance programmes nationally and internationally,
seminars, lecture demonstrations and workshops by noted personalities,
television productions etc. It brings out publications on various arts and
cultural subjects.
- Kalabhumi has predominantly promoted Sattriya dance as an Indian
classical dance form and popularised it globally over last two decades.
