FILM:
- Closely involved in film world.
- Pioneer in Assam (India) in Film Society Movement (1960s onwards).
As a founder President of Duliajan Film Society from 1964 to 1982,
exhibited classic and epoch-making 16 mm and 35 mm films by world famous
directors from across prominent film-making countries of the world.
- Organised many Indian and International film festivals, seminars, lectures where notable film personalities like Atma Ram, Mrinal Sen and Dr. Bhupen Hazarika participated.
- Authored and published a book in English entitled "CINEMA IN ASSAM" in 1976 which was hailed as a pioneering effort amongst the regional film-making states of India for focussing regional cinema in English language.
