- Since 1975, deeply involved in promoting Bharata Natyam and Sattriya
dance nationally and globally.
- Founded Kalabhumi in 1982 with Indira P.P. Bora (check kalabhumi) and as President conducting various cultural programmes and events of Kalabhumi and presenting all dance programmes, festivals and exposures of Sattriya dances of Indira and Menaka P.P.Bora along with traditional gurus nationally and globally.
