Indira has toured extensively in Europe in cultural promotion mission with Kalakshetra dance troupe under Late Rukmini Devi Arundale giving performances in: France, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Spain, Netherlands, Greece and Lebanon Besides Bharata Natyam and Kuchipudi, Indira has given successful global exposures of sattriya dance. She along with her daughter Menaka P.P. Bora has created awareness particularly about the rich Indian cultural heritage (Sattriya) among American, British and South-Asian audiences through performances, workshops and lecture demonstrations in the UK and USA covering the following venues;
